Dylan Seeman

Dylan James Seeman is a contemporary painter based in Phoenix, Arizona. Working primarily in oil and acrylic on MDF, Seeman is best known for a technique that blends fine realism with abstract distortions. To render metallic textures like fabric; and stones like living tissue.

Seeman’s work explores the relationship between idea and image, history and immediacy, structure and surprise. His paintings are characterized by intense visual tension. He engages viewers through layered emotional contradictions. Notable projects include the Dichotomy series and the ongoing Iterative Image series, which reflect his interest in perception, depth and memory.

Seeman has exhibited in All Eyes on You III, Creatures and Cosmos, Winter BFA Juried Exhibition 2023, and Spirit of Greater Phoenix. Marking a significant recognition of his emerging presence in the contemporary Pheonix art scene.
